NEWS OF THE STAGE; Hannah Williams Likely to Be in "Hurray for What"--Mr. Rose Plans to Conquer the Country

While no signatures have yet been affixed to a contract, it now appears more than likely that Hannah Williams (Mrs. Jack Dempsey) will return to the stage next season in one or another of the Shuberts' musical shows-probably, it Is believed, the Ed Wynn vehicle, "Hurray for What." Miss Williams's last Broadway appearance was made some seven years ago in "Sweet and Low," during the run of which she was succeeded by her sister, Dorothy.
